10 months agoBrenda's on the Dock of the bay cafe is such a gem in Saxis Va. The food is great, portions are generous, and the atmosphere feels like home. What really makes this place special is Brenda, the owner she treats everyone who walks in like family and makes sure you leave with a full belly and a smile. Small-town comfort and hospitality at its very best.

11 months agoThis is a hidden gem on Saxis island. Brenda cooked a perfect breakfast for us and then made some crab cakes for us to go fresh which were the best we've had. We ended up staying for a while enjoying her company and those of others talking about everything under the sun. Will be back as often as we can.

a year agoIf you want charm and to walk into someplace where you are instantly made to feel at home, Brenda’s is the place. A warm, inviting cafe with great food and conversation always on tap. I can’t wait to go back.
